2. What we collect
Website contact form
Name, email, phone (if you enter one), service interest, and the message text. We also receive technical headers the server logs in the ordinary course of delivering the page (IP address, browser type, date/time). We do not sell form leads to list brokers.
Project work
If you become a client we may hold company details, billing information you send, hosting logins you share, content for the site, and correspondence. Payment proofs (bank screenshots, transaction IDs) are kept as long as needed for accounts and dispute handling.
Cookies
This marketing site does not set advertising cookies. If a future analytics or chat tool is added, we will name it here and only load it where the law requires a choice after you have been informed. Server logs are not “cookies” but they do record requests.
3. Why we use the data
- To answer enquiries and prepare quotes
- To perform contracts: build sites, deliver scripts, provide hosting or support you bought
- To invoice, collect payment, and keep records required under Pakistani tax and company practice
- To secure our systems (investigating abuse of the form or staging servers)
- To send project-related mail, not unsolicited bulk marketing, unless you asked to be on a newsletter
Legal bases we rely on in practice: your request (pre-contract), performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest in running a small IT business and defending legal claims.
4. Who we share with
We share data only as needed: email and hosting providers that process mail or servers; payment channels you choose (bank, JazzCash, etc.); subcontractors bound to confidentiality if we hire a specialist for your job; and authorities if a lawful demand requires it. We do not sell personal data.
Script packages and websites may later send data to third-party APIs you ask us to connect (WhatsApp, Google, payment gateways). Those products have their own policies. We configure them on your instruction.
5. Retention
Unconverted form enquiries: up to 24 months, then deleted from active mailboxes unless a conversation is still live. Client files: for the life of the project and a further period needed for warranties, tax, and disputes (typically several years for invoices). Backups of servers we operate rotate on the host’s schedule; deleted live data may linger in a backup until that cycle ends.
6. Storage and security
Mail and files may sit on servers in Pakistan or in regions used by our host. We use passwords, limited staff access, and HTTPS on this site. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; do not send credit-card numbers in the contact form.
7. Your choices
You may email info@umshercloudstechnologies.com to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold, subject to legal retention of invoices and to not deleting data we must keep for an active dispute. You may refuse to use the form and contact us by phone instead.
If you are in a jurisdiction with extra rights (for example certain overseas clients), write to us and we will handle the request in line with the law that actually applies to that processing.
8. Children
Our services are aimed at businesses and adult buyers. We do not knowingly collect data from children for marketing.
9. Changes
If we change how we process data in a material way, we will update this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you should read the current text before sending a new form.
